The IceCap 27W High Output External Inline UV Sterilizer (SKU: IC-HOUV-27W) is an authentic, commercial-grade water management system distributed by CoralVue to promote uncompromised biosecurity and crystal-clear water profiles. Unlike typical low-wattage consumer clarifiers that merely mask green water, the IceCap High Output system leverages a high-density mercury-vapor arc tube to flood the internal contact channel with an aggressive UVC energy payload (75 μW/cm2). As water-borne dinoflagellates, cloudy bacterial blooms, and free-swimming Cryptocaryon irritans (marine ich) tomonts pass tightly against the internal quartz sleeve matrix, the exposure instantly neutralizes their ability to reproduce, breaking infection tracking cycles in closed aquatic loops.

Plumbed directly out-of-sump, the IC-HOUV-27W handles heavy flow rates up to 1,500 GPH for freshwater clarifiers and 600 GPH for critical marine parasite mitigation loops. The opaque, UV-shielded resin body protects your vision and surrounding equipment from radiation degradation while improving your system's overall Oxidation-Reduction Potential (Redox).
