Rather than utilizing chemical resins, synthetic media blocks, or carbon dosing systems that can destabilize delicate biological lines, the IC-AGS-200PRO harnesses natural photosynthesis. By providing a highly illuminated, oxygen-rich localized growth matrix, it isolates nuisance hair and film algae inside the reactor box rather than over your display coral rockwork.
Operation is self-contained and highly efficient. The included heavy-duty IceCap EVO-1000 utility pump sits submerged next to the scrubber base, lifting raw water straight into the internal spray bar manifold. This water cascades smoothly down an optimized 11.8 by 7.4-inch laser-roughened growing mesh screen. As the water sheets over the grid, it is blasted from both sides by integrated full-spectrum pink/red grow lights.
