IceCap Nano-1500 Controllable Flow Pump — 400 GPH

The IceCap Nano-1500 Controllable Flow Pump (SKU: IC-PROP-N1500) is an authentic, small-format aquarium circulation powerhead distributed by CoralVue to offer precise, adjustable hydro-dynamics for smaller nano reef aquariums, desktop setups, and small freshwater aquascapes. Maintaining consistent, gentle water flow is critical to preventing stagnant areas where uneaten fish food, fish waste, and organic detritus accumulate and spoil water quality. However, standard oversized powerheads frequently take over the visual landscape of compact displays or produce harsh, high-velocity jets that stress delicate tank inhabitants. The IceCap Nano-1500 solves this layout issue, packing a controllable 400 GPH current directly into a low-profile body that easily hides behind rock structures.

Equipped with an integrated 360-Degree Directional Ball Joint Base, the Nano-1500 lets you easily direct water pathways. Whether you want to ripple the surface for oxygen exchange, push water across a low sandbed, or bounce currents off a glass panel to create a broad gyre effect, you can adjust the angle manually without unmounting the pump. The system also features a dedicated, inline multi-speed electronic speed controller. This standalone clip module lets you step down the volumetric velocity to perfectly accommodate lower-flow corals like mushrooms and LPS, or step it up to challenge high-energy schooling fish. Anchored by a strong magnetic outer backing plate, it avoids the typical sliding issues associated with aging rubber suction cups.
